Operators, supervisors and managers will have a good understanding of the regulations that apply to the safe operation and use of overhead crane, accessories and signals used for which the overhead crane operator are trained. Additionally, operators will understand inspections and the need to keep a record of the checks carried out by the overhead crane operator and how to use lifting accessories to manufacturer instructions/recommendations.
Delegates
Overhead crane training is suitable for candidates of all levels. Novice operatives will take a full course. Semi-experienced delegates will take a reduced duration course dependent on their experience level. Refreshers are 1-day and are for previously-certificated candidates.
This course is for operators with little or no previous experience using a Overhead Crane Pendant course complies with the standards set in accordance with the HSE Code of Practice. This also enables successful operators to use any Overhead Crane Pendant (with authorisation) anywhere in the UK.
This course is designed for the Operator who has had extensive practical experience, (longer than 12 months) but has never been formally trained or held certification.
Keep your skills up to date. To refresh job safety knowledge, and give corrective remedial and tests to truck operators who though previously trained and certificated may require a short safety refresher course, to maintain the correct standards of operation at an acceptable level.
