On completion of the scissor lift training course, the trainee will be able to
Name all the main components of the truck
Carry out a Pre-shift inspection check & know when and how to report
Operate the Truck within the safety limits defined by the manufacturer
Manoeuvre a MEWP in a confined area
Accrediting Body ITSSAR/AITT
This scissor lift training course is for operators with little or no previous experience using a 1a 1b 3a 3b MEWP course complies with the standards set in accordance with the HSE Code of Practice. This also enables successful operators to use any 1a 1b 3a 3b MEWP (with authorisation) anywhere in the UK.
This scissor lift course is designed for the operator who has had extensive practical experience, (longer than 12 months) but has never been formally trained or held certification.
