AITT Accreditation
The Association of Industrial Truck Trainers (AITT) is a nationally recognised governing body in material handling equipment training. As the fastest-growing accrediting body in the sector, AITT focuses on maintaining the highest standards for operators, tutors, and examiners. An AITT accreditation ensures you receive top-tier training that meets industry benchmarks. AITT is a founding member of the Accrediting Bodies Association (ABA) for Workplace Transport, which is advised on training by the Health and Safety Executive.
Instructor Training Requirements
To attend the AITT forklift instructor training course, you must have a basic operations certificate for counterbalance forklifts dated within six months of the course start date. If you hold qualifications for other machinery, such as reach trucks, you can meet the prerequisites with a counterbalance conversion course.
